This tender drama-comedy from Paolo Genovese ( Dir Perfect Strangers) tells the poignant and passionate love story of Anna and Marco,  a couple with 2 very different personality types who fall in love and manage to stay together for over a decade. Something requiring a super human effort.  Hence the title.

Marco is a man of logic and  Anna is a cartoonist with an impulsive and nonconformist personality yet what can expalin attraction and love.  What keeps them together is an unknown  formula  no one can explain.

This beautifully shot and conveyed film follows the young couple as they fall in love and struggle to keep their relationship alive through tenderness and fights, lies and emotions, secrets and cheatings. They're Italian!

Based on the eponymous novel written by Genovese himself and featuring a perfectly aligned soundtrack, Superheroes is a touching drama about couples and the effect of time on their relationships.
