In the depths of autumn in Burgundy, Michelle (Hélène Vincent, The Extraordinary) lives a mostly quiet life; she enjoys foraging in the forest for mushrooms with her friend Marie-Claude. When Michelle's acerbic daughter, Valérie (Ludivine Sagnier, Of Love and Lies, Swimming Pool), drops her son off for the school holidays, Michelle hopes his stay will rekindle their strangled relationship.
